ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Technical lettering

Technical lettering is when you draw letters using specific technical drawings. It is a special way to write letters, numbers, and symbols so that other people can understand them. It is usually used for engineering drawings or technical manuals for machinery. Technical lettering is neat and precise and uses special symbols instead of regular letters from the alphabet. It can also use symbols to represent measurements and calculations instead of words. The symbols are usually circles or lines and those lines can be crossed or dotted.
