Technology shock

Have you ever heard of the word "technology"? It is like the magic that makes things work faster and better. Sometimes, when new technology is introduced, it can be very surprising for people. This sudden and surprising change is called a "technology shock."

Let me give you an example: think of your home and all the things you have. You might have a television, a microwave, a computer, and a smartphone. All of these things are technology, right? Now, let's say a new kind of technology is invented that is even better than what we have now. Suddenly, everyone starts using it, and it becomes the norm. This change is so sudden and surprising that people might not know how to react.

This is what is called a technology shock. It is a sudden and unexpected change caused by new technology. It can happen in many different fields, like in medicine or transportation. For example, when the airplane was invented, it was a huge technology shock that changed the way people travel forever.

Sometimes, technology shocks can cause problems. People might lose their jobs because machines can do their work more quickly and efficiently. But technology shocks can also bring a lot of benefits, like making things safer, faster, and easier for everyone.
