TempleOS

TempleOS is like a really big computer game that one man named Terry Davis made all by himself. It's a place where you can type things in and see special pictures, like squares and circles, on your computer screen. Terry made it so people could talk to God on their computer and make music.

But, TempleOS is a special kind of computer game because it doesn't work like other computer games. It is what we call an operating system, which means it controls all the things that our computer can do like open files and run programs. It's like the boss that tells the computer what to do.

Terry wanted TempleOS to be really simple so even kids could use it. He said it's like having a new friend that you can talk to, but this friend is your computer. Terry made it all by himself using special code and programming languages. He did all the work himself, from designing the pictures to writing the code.

You can say that Terry was like a wizard who made this amazing thing all on his own that people can use on their computers. Even though Terry is no longer with us, his work on TempleOS lives on and people still use it to explore and learn about the world of programming.
