Ten Abominations

When people talk about abominations, they mean things that are really, really bad or wrong. There are ten specific things that are called abominations in the Bible, which is a book that some people believe has special rules and instructions from God.

The first abomination is worshiping things that are not God, like statues or money. God wants us to love and respect Him above anything else.

The second abomination is when men have sex with other men, and it is also considered a sin in the Bible.

The third abomination is when people worship other gods or things besides God, like idols or money.

The fourth abomination is people who are mean to their parents or disrespect them. God wants us to love and honor our parents.

The fifth abomination is when people kill an innocent person, which is never okay.

The sixth abomination is people who do witchcraft or sorcery, which is trying to use magic or spells to control things.

The seventh abomination is people who cheat or lie to others, especially in business or trade.

The eighth abomination is when someone is not faithful in marriage, like having affairs or cheating on their partner.

The ninth abomination is people who steal, which means taking things that don't belong to them without permission.

The tenth and final abomination is people who are dishonest or deceitful, who try to trick or deceive others for personal gain.

All of these things are considered abominations because they hurt other people and go against what God wants for us.
