Term limit

A term limit is a rule that says a person can only be in a certain job for a certain amount of time. This limit is usually about four or eight years. For example, the president of the United States can only stay in the job for eight years. This is because it is important for new ideas and new people to come into the job. When the term limit is reached, the person needs to step down, and someone else needs to take the job.
