Test (biology)

In biology, a test is like a special way of checking something to see if it's true or not true. Scientists use tests to figure out things like if something is alive or dead, what kind of animal or plant something is, or if something is healthy or sick. They use things like microscopes or chemical reactions to help them with the tests. Just like how you take tests in school to show what you know, scientists use tests to show what they know about living things.
