ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Tetrathlon

Okay kiddo, so a tetrathlon is a sport where you do four different things. It's kind of like doing four mini sports all in a row! The four things you do are: running, swimming, shooting a gun, and doing an obstacle course.

First, you might run a certain distance. It could be a short or a long distance depending on your age and level of skill. Next, you might swim in a pool, lake, or ocean. You have to be careful and make sure you're safe in the water.

Then, you go to a shooting range and try to hit targets with a gun. But don't worry, it's a special kind of gun that doesn't hurt anyone - it's just used for aiming and hitting targets.

Finally, you do an obstacle course. This means you climb over things, crawl under things, jump over things, and maybe even run through mud or water. It's like a big playground where you get to test your strength and agility!

You get points for how well you do in each of the four things, and the person with the most points at the end wins! It's a really fun and challenging sport that lots of people love to compete in.
