Tetsugen

Okay kiddo, so tetsugen is a name of a person from a long time ago in Japan. He was a Buddhist monk who wanted to help people. He heard about some Buddhist books that were really important, but not everyone could afford to have their own copy.

So, tetsugen wanted to help these people and decided to collect a lot of money so he could make copies of these books and give them to people for free. He went all around asking for donations from people and even sold his own belongings to make enough money.

Finally, tetsugen had enough money to make copies of the books! He spent years copying and printing these books by hand, and then he started giving them away to anyone who needed them. This made a lot of people very happy because they could finally read these important books and learn about Buddhism.

And that's the story of tetsugen, a kind monk who wanted to help people by giving them free books about Buddhism.
