Texas rig

Okay kiddo, so a Texas Rig is actually something fishermen use when they go fishing. You know how they use a fishing line to catch fish, right? Well, a Texas Rig is a special way of setting up the line and hook so that it looks like a worm or a bug that the fish might want to eat.

Basically, it's a weight at the end of the line, and then a hook attached to the line with a soft plastic bait on it. The weight helps the bait sink down to where the fish are swimming, and then the fish can see the bait and think it looks yummy, so they try to eat it.

This is a popular way to fish for bass and other fish that live in shallow water with weeds or other obstacles. The Texas Rig helps the bait and hook slide through the weeds without getting tangled up, so the fisherman can easily get their catch out of the water without losing their bait or hook.

It's a little bit tricky to set up at first, but once you get the hang of it, you'll be catching fish like a pro!
