Textile manufacture during the British Industrial Revolution

During the British Industrial Revolution, people began to fabrictate (make) fabrics (textiles) in factories using machines. Before this, people made fabrics in their homes by hand. The factories had machines that could spin thread and weave it together to make cloth very quickly and in large amounts. This made it cheaper and easier to make fabric, so more people could afford to buy it.
