Thanatology

Thanatology is the study of death, dying, and the emotional, social, and spiritual issues surrounding them. It looks at the different ways people think about death and how they deal with the death of a loved one or a close friend. It helps us understand how to best very these difficult times and how to help people cope with the loss of someone that has been important to them.
