An authoritarian personality is a type of personality that likes things to be in order and prefers when people do what they're told. People with an authoritarian personality usually like to be in charge and like to make the rules. They usually aren't very open to open discussion and like to keep things the same. People with this type of personality are also usually not very patient and can often be seen as strict.
