The Battle of the Goths and Huns
Once upon a time, a long long time ago, there were two groups of people called the Goths and the Huns. They didn't like each other very much and they fought a big battle to try and win.
The Goths were from a place called Germany while the Huns came from farther away, from a place called Mongolia. They were both very tough and strong fighters.
At first, the Huns attacked the Goths and pushed them back. But then, the Goths got together with some other groups of warriors and decided to fight back.
They had a big battle in a place called Catalaunian Plains. There were lots and lots of men and horses and weapons.
It was a very hard fight and lots of people got hurt on both sides. But in the end, the Goths and their allies were able to beat the Huns.
The battle was very important because it stopped the Huns from conquering more lands. It also showed that the Goths and their allies were powerful fighters who could protect themselves and their homes.
