The Bible and homosexuality

Okay, so you know how we have a book that tells us stories and teaches us about good and bad things to do? Well, a lot of people believe that the Bible is that book. And in the Bible, there are some parts that talk about something called homosexuality.

Homosexuality is when someone is attracted to people of the same gender as them. So if a boy likes another boy or a girl likes another girl, that's called being gay or lesbian.

Some parts of the Bible say that homosexuality is wrong and that people who do it are sinning. That means they're doing something that's bad and goes against what God wants.

But other people say that the Bible is old and maybe doesn't apply to our lives now in the same way it did back then. And they also say that love is always a good thing, no matter who you love.

So, some people believe that the Bible is against homosexuality, while others believe that it's okay to love whoever you want, even if the Bible doesn't talk about it specifically.
