Once upon a time, there was a fox and a crow. The crow had a tasty piece of cheese in her beak, and the fox wanted it for himself.
The fox was very sneaky and he knew he couldn't just ask the crow for the piece of cheese. So instead, he started to flatter the crow. He told her how beautiful her feathers were and how she had the most amazing singing voice.
The crow was so happy to hear these compliments that she opened her beak to sing. But as soon as she did, the cheese fell out of her beak and the fox quickly snatched it up and ran away.
The crow felt foolish for being tricked by the sneaky fox. The lesson of the story is to not let flattery and compliments blind you from seeing the true intentions of others.
