The Isolated State

The isolated state is when one country decides to limit or cut off the amount of communication, trade, and/or travel that it allows with other countries. It means that this country is like a closed box and only its citizens are allowed to live and work within it. It's like a country is putting up a big wall around itself and saying, "We don't trust anyone outside, so we're going to keep to ourselves and stay away from other countries."
