The Misfit Economy

The misfit economy is a way of talking about the people, businesses, and organizations that are doing things differently - in ways that don't fit into the traditional ideas of what's "normal". For example, a misfit business could be an online store that sells products through social media, rather than having a physical store. A misfit organization could be a volunteer group that works to help homeless people find housing and other resources. All of these misfit people and places are part of what's called the misfit economy. Together, they're helping to create a new way of doing things that's different than the way it's been done in the past.
