The Passing of the Great Race

The Passing of the Great Race is an idea from history. It believed that some peoples were better than others, and therefore should have more power, money and rights. This idea hurt many people, because it made them feel like they weren't as important or worthwhile as those people who were considered to be at the top. Many laws were created and enforced that kept people who weren't part of the 'Great Race' from having the same opportunities and privileges as those who were considered to be in the 'Great Race'. Thankfully, over time, people have realized that this idea was wrong, and worked to change laws and attitudes so that everyone can have the same rights, regardless of race.
