Theory of historical trajectory means that the way our history has gone in the past affects how it will go in the future. It means that the decisions people make now, based on what has happened in the past, will determine how our future will turn out. For example, if people don't do anything about poverty now, it's likely people will still be struggling with poverty in the future.
