ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Theory of planned behavior

The theory of planned behavior is a way of thinking about why people make the choices they do. It suggests that people's behavior is based on their attitudes, feelings, and beliefs about that behavior. It also suggests that people make decisions with an eye toward their future and that they plan out their actions before they take them. Basically, the theory of planned behavior says that the things we think and feel, and our plans to do something, are the main reasons why people do things.
