ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Thermal effusivity

Thermal effusivity is a measure of how easily heat can travel through a material or object. It's like how a highway provides an easier way for cars to travel than a bumpy road, except in this case, the cars are pieces of heat. When heat has an easier time traveling through a material or object, the object or material has a higher thermal effusivity.
