Thermal energy storage

Thermal energy storage is a way of collecting energy from the sun or other sources and keeping it in a special container. The energy can then be used for heating or cooling when it is needed. When the energy is stored, it is kept at a high temperature, usually using materials like water, rocks, or salt. This energy can then be accessed and used to heat or cool a building when needed.
