Thermal resistance

Thermal resistance is how well something can resist or stop heat. Imagine a path made up of different materials, with each material taking up some space. The more materials in the path, the harder it is for heat to get through. Thermal resistance is a measure of how hard it is for heat to move through the path. The higher the number, the more materials in the path, and the harder it is for heat to get through!
