Third country resettlement is when people who are living in one country (the first country) are moved to another country (the third country) that is not the first country or their native country (the second country). This can happen for a number of reasons, such as if people are in danger in their home country, or if they need more space or resources that are not available in their home country. When they are moved to a third country, they start a new life there and often become citizens of that country.
