Third culture kid

A third culture kid is someone who has grown up in a different culture from their parents. For example, if their parents were born in one country, but they were born and/or grew up in a different country, then they are a third culture kid. They get the best of both cultures and usually speak more than one language and enjoy different kinds of food. They often feel like they fit in with both cultures, but at the same time, they might feel like they don't fit in completely with either culture.
