Threat assessment

Threat assessment is like being a superhero who uses their superpowers of observation and intuition to keep people safe from bad guys.

When someone thinks that something bad might happen, like someone wanting to hurt someone else, threat assessment helps figure out if there is a real danger or not.

Threat assessors usually look out for some signs, like if someone has been acting differently, saying weird things, or being really angry. They talk to people who know the person well, like family, friends, or teachers, and ask them if they’ve noticed anything strange or worrisome.

Then, they use their superhero intuition to think about what might happen next and what can be done to stop it, like talking to the person who seems to be in trouble or calling the police to make sure that everyone is safe.

So, threat assessment is like a superhero team of people who use their skills and powers to protect people and help them stay safe from bad guys.
