Thriller (genre)

A thriller is a type of story that is exciting, suspenseful, and often contains elements of mystery and surprise. Thrillers often have a main character who is trying to solve a difficult problem or accomplish an important mission. This character has to overcome dangerous obstacles and enemies in order to accomplish the goal and reach a satisfactory ending. Thrillers can range from intense action movies to thrilling detective stories.
