Tibetan rug

A Tibetan rug is a type of rug that is made in Tibet, which is a country located in Asia. It is used to cover the floor of a room and is often made using wool from sheep that live in the mountains. The wool is dyed different colors to create patterns on the rug.

To make a Tibetan rug, the wool is first washed, and then spun into yarn. Then, the yarn is dyed using natural dyes made from plants and minerals. Next, the dyed yarn is woven into a rug using a special type of loom.

The design of the rug can be very intricate and detailed, with lots of different colors and patterns. Some rugs even have pictures of animals or people woven into them.

Once the rug is finished, it is trimmed and washed to make it soft and fluffy. Then it is ready to be sold or put in someone's home. Tibetan rugs are known for being very durable and can last for many years, even with lots of use.
