ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Till plain

A till plain is a big flat area of land made out of rocks, sand, and dirt that was left behind by a big moving sheet of ice called a glacier. When the glacier moves, it drags rocks and dirt with it, and when the ice melts, it leaves everything it was carrying in one big flat area. So, a till plain is like a giant sandbox left behind by a big ice machine.
