ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Time–space compression

Time–space compression is a fancy way of saying that the world has become smaller because of technology. It's like shrinking the amount of time and space it takes to get from one place to another. Before, it took a very long time to travel from one place to another, but now we can travel much faster and communicate instantly through devices like phones and computers. This has made it possible for people from different parts of the world to connect with each other easily and quickly, which is pretty amazing. It's like the world has become a village, even though it's still really big. So, time–space compression means that we can do more in less time, and we can reach more places and more people than ever before.
