Timeline of Khartoum
Okay, so imagine you are playing a game and your player is in a city called Khartoum. This city has a very long and interesting history.
A long, long time ago, people who were called Nubians lived in the Khartoum area. They built lots of cool buildings and did many fun things.
Then, around 500 B.C., another group of people called the Egyptians started to come to Khartoum. They were very powerful and brought many new ideas with them. They built even more amazing buildings and did many other cool things too.
After that, a bunch of other people came to Khartoum including the Romans, the Arabs, and the Ottomans. They all left their mark on the city because they built new things and brought new traditions with them.
In the 1800s, the British came to Khartoum and they took over the city. They built many more things and did many important things too.
In 1956, Sudan became an independent country and Khartoum became its capital city. The city grew very fast and many new buildings were built.
But unfortunately, in the 1980s and 1990s, there were many conflicts and wars in Sudan. This made it difficult for Khartoum to grow and develop.
Today, Khartoum is still the capital city of Sudan and it has a very interesting and unique history. Hopefully, in the future, it will continue to grow and develop into an even more amazing city!
