Timeline of the gunpowder age in Korea

Okay kiddo, let's talk about gunpowder and Korea!

A long, long time ago, people would fight using things like swords and bows and arrows. But then, someone discovered something really cool called gunpowder. This is a special powder that, when lit on fire, creates a big explosion.

In Korea, people started using gunpowder to make things like fireworks and bombs. They even started using guns that used gunpowder to shoot out bullets. This was during a time called the Gunpowder Age in Korea, which lasted from around the 14th century to the 19th century.

During this time, a lot of wars and battles happened in Korea. People would fight using guns and cannons and other weapons that used gunpowder. Some of the most famous battles were the Japanese invasions of Korea in the late 16th century.

But gunpowder wasn't just used for fighting. It also helped with things like mining and agriculture. And, of course, it made fireworks really cool to watch!

Today, gunpowder is still used in things like fireworks and guns, but we also have a lot of other technologies that help us fight and do things like mining and farming. But it's pretty cool to think about how something like gunpowder changed the way people fought wars and helped with everyday life in Korea during the Gunpowder Age.
