Title (property)

Imagine you have a toy that you really like, your toy truck. You can play with it anytime you want, and it's yours. That truck belongs to you just like your parents' car belongs to them. The word we use for the things that belong to us is "property".

Now imagine that when you grow up and buy a house, you'll have a piece of paper that says you own that house. That piece of paper is called a "title". It's like a special paper that proves that you own the house.

So think of a title like a special toy truck that you can only have if you own something really big like a house or a car. It proves that you own it just like your name on your toy truck lets everyone know that it belongs to you.
