ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Title (publishing)

When someone writes a story or makes a picture, they want everyone to see it and read it. But how can they do that? They can't just shout it out to everyone in the world, can they?

That's where publishing comes in. Publishing is like making a book or a magazine out of the story or picture. It's kind of like making a cake. You take all the ingredients, mix them together, and bake them into a yummy cake. In the same way, when you publish something, you take all the words and pictures and put them together to make a book or magazine that people can read.

The title of a book or magazine is like the name of the cake. It helps people know what the book or magazine is about. Just like if someone made a cake out of chocolate, they would call it "Chocolate Cake" so people who like chocolate would know they might like it.

The title is usually printed on the front cover of the book or magazine in big letters so people can see it easily. When people see the title, they can decide if they want to read it or not. So, the title is very important because it helps people know what they're getting into before they even start reading!
