ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Tool library

A tool library is like a big toy box filled with all kinds of cool tools that you can borrow whenever you need them. Just like how you might borrow a toy from the toy library, grown-ups can borrow hammers, screwdrivers, and even power tools from the tool library.

Instead of buying each tool you need, you can borrow them from the tool library for a short amount of time, just like how you borrow books or movies from the library. This saves money and helps reduce waste.

When you go to the tool library, you simply show your library card and sign out the tool you need. Then, when you're finished with the tool, you bring it back to the library so that someone else can borrow it next.

Not only is a tool library helpful for people who don't have a lot of money to buy their own tools, it's also great for the environment because it encourages people to share and reuse instead of buying new things all the time.
