Topic model

A topic model is a type of computer program that takes a bunch of text and tries to identify different topics that are discussed in the text. This means the program looks at each word in the text, and groups together words that seem to be talking about the same sort of thing. For example, if the text was about plants, it might group together words like tree, flower and leaves.
