Total Recall is a movie about a guy named Douglas Quaid who lives in the future. He thinks his life is boring and wants to go on an adventure. So he decides to have a company put a fake memory in his brain where he goes on a secret agent mission. But something goes wrong and Quaid starts to think that the fake memory might actually be a real memory.
He goes on a wild adventure to try and figure out what is real and what is fake. Along the way, he meets lots of interesting characters and has lots of crazy adventures. But he also discovers that there is a big conspiracy going on and lots of people are trying to stop him from finding out the truth.
Eventually, Quaid discovers that he is actually a secret agent and that he has been on this mission all along. He also finds out that there is a big bad guy who is trying to take over the world and he has to stop him. In the end, Quaid saves the day and everything turns out alright.
