Tower of London

The Tower of London is an ancient castle which started off as a prison and an armoury in 1078. It is situated in London, England on the north side of the River Thames. The Tower of London is made up of a group of fortified buildings that have been created over the years by different English rulers. It has been used as a royal palace, a prison, an execution ground, a storehouse, and a zoo.

Today, the Tower of London is a famous tourist attraction. People can go and view the towers, walk around the walls, and visit the White Tower, which was built in 1078 by William the Conqueror. Inside the White Tower, visitors can see the Crown Jewels, as well as other interesting exhibits such as costumes and armour. It has some of the most amazing views in all of London.
