The main idea is that all of their parts are made to be perfect, so that when they come together you don’t have to do any re-work. This means less waste and less time for them to make their cars. They also try to make sure things move quickly, so that from the moment a customer puts in an order, it doesn’t take very long to build the car and deliver it. That way, customers don’t have to wait very long.
