ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Traditional Berber religion

So, imagine you live in a place called Berber, and your family and friends have some special beliefs about how the world works. They believe that everything around you, like trees, animals, and even rocks, has a spirit or life force inside it.

Now, they also believe in a bunch of different gods and goddesses that control different parts of the world. Like there is one god who makes sure the sun rises and sets each day, and another god who makes sure the rain comes to help plants grow.

Your family and friends also think that it's really important to respect and honor these spirits and gods. They might do some special ceremonies, prayers, or even make offerings to them. Sometimes they might also ask the spirits or gods for help in their own lives, like asking for good health or for a good harvest of crops.

Overall, traditional Berber religion is all about believing in the power of spirits and gods, and trying to live in harmony with them and the natural world.
