Transformation semigroup

A transformation semigroup is a group of operations or transformations that you can do in a certain order. Think of it like a recipe that you could follow to make a cake: you have to mix the cake batter first, before you put it in the oven, then after it's done baking, you can decorate the cake. Each step is its own transformation, and when you do them all in order, the transformations combine to make a finished cake. That's what a transformation semigroup is – a bunch of transformations that you do in a certain order to get a result.
