ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Transitive relation

A transitive relation is like going through a maze. In the maze, each room that you go into will have a door that will take you to the next room. So if you start in the first room, the door will take you to the second room, and then the second room will have a door taking you to the third room, and so on until you get to the end. The same is true of transitive relations. They are like a chain of rooms in the maze, where each room is connected to the next room by a "relation" or a link.
