Transputer

A transputer is a very special type of computer chip. It is like a tiny brain made out of electronic parts - it is like a tiny computer that can do its own thinking. Transputers can be used to help other computers do things faster and with more power. The transputer does some of the thinking and takes the pressure off the main computer, making it able to do more things.
