ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Transversal programme

Imagine you have a piece of paper with two straight lines drawn on it. These lines are called "parallel" because they are always the same distance apart and they never touch each other. Now imagine a third line that goes across both of these lines, like a bridge. This line is called a "transversal."

A transversal program is a program that combines different subject areas or skills that are related, but not normally taught together. It's like building a bridge between two or more parallel curriculum areas.

For example, let's say you are studying math and science. Normally, these subjects are taught separately, but in a transversal program, you might learn about the science of how things move, which would involve math concepts like equations and graphs. This program would be a bridge that connects math and science.

Transversal programs can be really helpful because they help you see how different subjects relate to each other. They also help you develop a broader understanding of the world around you.
