Trespass in English law

Trespass in English law means when someone goes onto someone else's property without permission. Just like you wouldn't want someone to enter your bedroom without your permission, other people have the same right to their property.

If someone does trespass, they can be asked to leave the property or the police may get involved. The owner of the property can also sue the trespasser for damages, which means they can ask for money to make up for any harm or damage caused by the trespasser.

It's important to always ask for permission before entering someone else's property, so we show respect to others and their belongings.
