Triangular theory of love

Triangular theory of love is a theory that explains how different types of love can be described. It says that all types of love can be broken down into three different parts - Intimacy, Passion, and Commitment. Intimacy is the emotional bond between two people – how close they feel to each other. Passion is how much you desire the other person and how strong your romantic or sexual feelings are. Commitment is how strong your promise or commitment is to the other person, how much you are willing to stick with them no matter what. Together, these three parts create different types of love, depending on which ones are the strongest. For example, if Passion is the strongest, you may experience a lot of romantic or sexual feelings for someone, but don't feel as emotionally connected to them or make as strong a promise to stay with them.
