ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Tribe of Manasseh

Okay kiddo, so back in a long time ago in the Bible days, there were 12 brothers called the sons of Jacob. Each brother became the head of a big family called a tribe. One of these tribes was called the tribe of Manasseh, and it was named after Manasseh, who was one of Jacob's grandsons.

The tribe of Manasseh was one of the biggest tribes and they lived in a place called Canaan, which is now known as Israel. They were known for being strong warriors and good at farming. They were also very faithful to God, but sometimes they weren't so good at following His rules.

The tribe of Manasseh had a very important role in the history of the Israelites. They were one of the tribes that helped conquer the land of Canaan and they helped defend their people against enemies. They also had many leaders who were very wise and respected.

So, to sum it up, the tribe of Manasseh was a big family of warriors and farmers who lived in ancient Israel. They were faithful to God and played an important role in the history of the Israelites.
