Trigram tagger

A trigram tagger is like a little helper that can help us figure out what words should be assigned to different categories in a sentence.

When we read a sentence, we try to understand what each word means and also what category it belongs to. For example, is it a noun, a verb, or an adjective?

A trigram tagger helps us do this by looking at groups of three words at a time (which is why it's called a "tri"gram). It uses a special method to figure out what category the middle word should belong to, based on the words before and after it.

For example, if we see the words "The cat sat" in a sentence, the trigram tagger might guess that "sat" is a verb because it often follows "cat" and "the". With more data and training, it can become more accurate in its guesses, helping us understand what kind of words we are reading.
