Trim tab

Trim tabs are small pieces of metal on the back of a boat or airplane. They help to control the direction the boat or airplane goes in. The way trim tabs work is that when you turn the trim tab one way, it pushes the back of the boat or airplane in that direction. When the water or air pushes back, the boat or airplane moves the way the trim tab is pointing.
