Truancy

Truancy is when somebody misses school without permission. It's like when you should go to school and you don't. Truancy can get you into trouble with your parents, your teacher, and sometimes even the police! It can hurt your grades and lead to you not getting a good education. It’s not a good idea and it’s better to talk to your parents or teacher if you’re having a problem instead of skipping school.
